It’s time to ride into an A to Z adventure through Silverwood Theme Park—where every letter is bursting with thrills, laughs, and tasty treats! I’m all about adding more play into people’s lives, and I do that every day through Playtopia. That’s why I turned the Silverwood experience into a playful ABCs journey. And the fun doesn’t end at the park—grab your FREE printable Silverwood A to Z coloring book and keep the fun going at home!
🎵A, B, C… Silverwood’s magic, wait and see! 🎵 (read to the tune of ABC by The Jacksons)
A: Animal Tracks
One of the things I love about Silverwood is the hidden details throughout the park. Hidden on the ground in Critter Country are various animal tracks. Can your kiddos identify all the animal tracks? Use these animal tracks for a math learning lab!
B: Bubbles
Let’s face it, kids love bubbles! Bubble guns are the perfect way to entertain kids in line and on the walk from each attraction. Plus, it’s a perfect summer edition at home for play!
C: Antique Cars
Kids love to drive! This underrated attraction gets kids behind the wheel! Be sure to take your little one on this one!
D: Dynamite Dan
No Silverwood trip is complete without a ride on the train. This is no ordinary train ride, there are two different train experiences you can enjoy. Be sure to ride it during the Great Train Robbery so you can experience a live action show with the comedic relief – Dynamite Dan. Check daily showtimes to be sure you ride at the right time.
E: Engine No. 7
This historic steam engine train was built in 1915 and takes guests around Silverwood Theme Park.
F: Ferris Wheel
The perfect ride to get the best views of the park.
G: Giant Scoop (of icecream)
I mean GIANT. 5 scoops, really. With many flavors to choose from and the option to get it in a cup or cone. Definitely fill your sweet tooth at Ice Creamery. Visiting the park with multiple kids? You won’t want to miss out on this ice cream hack.
H: Silly Hats
The amount of laughs and entertainment my toddler and I had while trying on all the hats filled my mama heart with so much joy. You definitely have to go try them ALL on at Hucks General Store.
I: Illusion
The magic show I look forward to seeing, even as an adult. Guess what? There’s a new show this year!
J: Life Jackets
Find these located throughout Boulder Beach for your convenience. FREE!
K: Kiddie Copters
One of the rides my little one can’t get enough of. Keep in mind, adults cannot ride with their kids on this ride (and a lot of similar rides).
L: Log Flume
Who doesn’t love a log ride? Especially on a hot day! The perfect transition to or from Boulder Beach.
M: Marvin & Friends
Not only is this a great way to cool off and eat lunch (you can even bring in your own food or purchase something), the animatronic animals sing parodies. I was pleasantly surprised they’re actually really funny, with jokes geared towards the parents. Find this attraction in the High Moon Saloon.
N: Gary Norton
The man responsible for all the fun at Silverwood, he’s the founder and owner with a great story. Read about the history of the park and Gary Norton here.
O: Ornament
Are you an ornament collector? I LOVE Christmas, and for some, they shop all year for ornaments for their tree. Take one home with you as a keepsake of your fun day!
P: Pop Gun
This is the souvenir that does not get old in our house. My husband and toddler have a blast shooting at each other. Honestly, I’m thinking I need to get my husband one on our next visit.
Q: Quiet Garden
A peaceful place to sit back, eat a snack, or look for birdhouses for the toddler learning lab.
R: Rollercoaster
SOO many coasters to choose from, which is your favorite? My little guy loves Tiny Toot Coaster, the perfect exposure to rollercoasters.
S: Sasquatch
Do you believe? Keep your eyes peeled on the train ride, you might be surprised by this hairy guy.
T: Tunnel
Where echoes bounce and excitement builds—this is the spot that kicks off the day as your kids eagerly head into the park from the parking lot.
U: Uncover
Dig and uncover gems at Melvins Mine Shack.
V: Victorian Coffee House
Grab a coffee at the charming Victorian Coffee House, then unwind with a game of giant chess on the lawn—the perfect spot to relax and take it all in.
W: Waves
Waves come crashing every 5 minutes at Boulder Beach Bay’s wave pool. A great thrilling spot for all ages.
X: eXtreme Rides
Rides at the park are rated by intensity levels and there are PLENTY with high intensity making your day full of eXtreme rides and thrills.
Y: Yesteryear
Learn the history of the park during a relaxing train ride. Be sure to check show times, not every train ride is the same.
Z: Zinnia
One of the many flowers you could find at Silverwood. Have you noticed how beautiful the park is with all the fresh flowers? It’s hard to miss. Those beauties were grown right there at the park.
CHALLENGE TIME:
How bout’ a challenge? Can your family come up with something for every letter of the alphabet related to Silverwood?
A great activity to do at the park, on the way home or outside somewhere reminiscing on all the fun you had.

I’m Bri, a “stay-at-home mom,” though I’m hardly ever at home! My routine involves getting out of the house every morning by 10 a.m. with my kids to go play in our community. Honestly, I’d go crazy if I stayed home all day. There are too many opportunities in our area to miss out on and too many life experiences to have outside the house!
A little background: I’m a former teacher and school administrator who started staying home in 2022 after our first son was born. In those roles, I was often called the “energy bunny” because I loved making learning fun for my students and bringing joy to my staff as a vice principal. Despite juggling many tasks, I always had plenty of energy and wanted to make the most of each day. Becoming a mom was a game-changer in the best way. Teaching and administration had been my life, but I knew I wanted to stay home with my kids, and I’m so grateful I can! My hobbies—gardening, skiing, wakeboarding, camping, sewing, and anything outdoors—had to shift as I learned how to incorporate a baby into my activities.
I quickly immersed myself in the “mom” community and found myself naturally stepping into an organizing role. In the summer of 2024, Playtopia was born when I started hosting playdates and larger public events, like park building activities, art sessions, and STEAM nights. What began as small get-togethers with friends, grew into a place for families to connect with one another and build community.
