Allison Caffrey
Social Media Manager
Post Falls, Idaho
I’m a proud single mama to two adventurous toddlers (3½ and 2) who have completely redefined what “busy” and “beautiful” mean in my life. Most days, you’ll find us outside exploring – local trails, splash pads, hidden parks, or just chasing sunshine wherever we can find it. I truly believe fresh air fixes almost everything, and I love showing other moms that adventure doesn’t have to be far, fancy, or expensive to be meaningful.
Professionally, I work as a social media manager for three local real estate brands across North Idaho, Washington, and Montana. I specialize in story-driven content that builds connection and community. To me, social media isn’t just about posting – it’s about capturing the feeling of a home, the heart behind a brand, and the lifestyle that brings it all together. I’m passionate about helping businesses show up authentically and turn everyday moments into compelling stories.
My professional creativity blends naturally with my life as a mom. I love sharing practical mom hacks, budget-friendly family adventures, and simple systems that make life smoother and less overwhelming. If there’s a way to simplify it, organize it, or make it more fun – I’m all in.
Being a single mom has shaped me into someone resilient, resourceful, and deeply driven. At the heart of everything I do is storytelling – creating content that feels real, helpful, and inspiring. I’m building a life my kids can be proud of, one adventure and one story at a time.

Amanda Baremore
City Manager for Mom What’s Next CDA
Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Hi, I’m Amanda Baremore, a proud mom of three bright girls (ages 5, 7, and 9) and wife to my amazing husband of 13 years.
Many in the community know me as the City Manager of Mom What’s Next CDA, a role I’ve held since 2023. I’m passionate about helping families explore all that our local area has to offer, welcoming new families, and connecting them with trusted resources, small businesses, and fun adventures. Over the years, I’ve built a strong network within the community and love being a reliable, go-to resource for families looking to build connections. In 2025, I was honored as a Top 30 Under 40 recipient for my contributions to the community while serving in this community-driven role.
Professionally, I serve as the Director of Janitorial at Peak Health and Wellness Center in Coeur d’Alene, where I take pride in creating a clean, welcoming environment for our fitness community. This spring, I’m also volunteering as a coach for Girls on the Run, encouraging young girls to grow in confidence, strength, and resilience.
In my limited free time, you’ll usually find me making memories with my family, reading a good book, going for a run, hosting play dates or chasing a new adventure. I strive to live each week to the fullest and embrace every sunny day I can.

Amy Brockman
Teacher
Sagle, Idaho
I’m a 40-year-old mom of four living in Sagle, Idaho, about 30 minutes from Silverwood Theme Park. I moved to North Idaho in 2012 from Southwest Florida, where I grew up visiting theme parks often—especially Disney World. My family even had season passes when I was growing up, so theme parks have always held a special place in my heart. When I moved here as an adult and discovered there was an incredible theme park practically in my backyard, I was beyond excited.
These days my life is full and busy in the best way. I’m a homeschooling mom to my 5th grader and 3rd grader, while also teaching my preschooler at home and chasing after my 11-month-old baby. Like many moms, my days are a mix of homeschooling, volunteering at our homeschool co-op, driving kids to music lessons, sports, appointments, meeting friends for park playdates, and spending lots of time at the library. In between all of that, I’m also working on building an online business from home.
One of the things I love most about living in North Idaho is the beauty that surrounds us every day. Our family loves the lakes, the mountains, and the changing seasons—especially the fall. There’s something so special about raising kids in a place where they can explore nature, play outside, and experience a slower, more peaceful lifestyle compared to the hustle of big cities.
A fun fact about me is that I spent two years living in Copenhagen, Denmark during college. I attempted to learn Danish (with limited success!) and had so many incredible experiences there. When I moved to Idaho at 28, I had never driven in snow before. In fact, my very first winter job here was delivering pitas for a local restaurant, which meant learning to drive in snowy conditions very quickly!
Life has taken me from Florida beaches to Danish cities to the mountains of North Idaho, but one constant through the years has been my love of family adventures—and theme parks have always been a big part of that. Living just 30 minutes away, Silverwood has naturally become one of the places our family returns to again and again as part of our North Idaho family traditions.

Briana Pearson
Stay-at-Home Mom & Founder of Playtopia CDA
Hayden, Idaho
I’m Bri. I am a stay at home mom, though I would say I hardly stay home. It is a routine of ours to be out of the house every morning by 10 a.m. and out in the community connecting with others somewhere. Honestly, I would go insane if I stayed home. There are far too many opportunities in our area to miss out on and too many life experiences and learning moments to be had outside the home.
As a former teacher and school administrator turned stay at home mom, I am constantly looking for engaging, immersive, and social activities for my kids to support their development. As the “energy bunny,” as I am often referred to, I love making opportunities fun, taking advantage of each day, and creating playful experiences in all scenarios. I have developed a community of families in the area who seek connection and play for their children through something I created called Playtopia. I hosted 43 community events in 2025 and am currently navigating what Playtopia will look like going forward as we add another child to our family.
Playtopia has been such a gift because it has given me an avenue to fully embrace life with kids while showcasing our amazing region. I get to highlight all the things I love doing in my free time, including farmers markets, local events, camping, being on the lake, sewing, gardening, SILVERWOOD, and simply being outside. Through these experiences, I have the opportunity to help connect people and build community through play.
One random thing about me is that I have followed a gluten free diet since 2007, and my kids do as well. The teacher in me loves to educate others about gluten free living, and I co run the Gluten Free in North Idaho Facebook page with my mom, who is also gluten free. It serves as a resource for our region to help families navigate and share places that offer gluten free options.

Miles Bergsma
Social Media Manager, Face of Spokane Storytime
Spokane, WA
I am a regional storyteller, photographer, and content creator focused on the Inland Northwest. Through Spokane Storytime I share stories about the places, history, and experiences that shape eastern Washington and north Idaho. Much of the work centers on documenting destinations that people in the region already feel connected to, from outdoor spaces to local traditions and long standing attractions. Over the past few years the platform has grown to nearly 100,000 followers across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, with more than 35 million views on Facebook in 2025. Professionally I work in marketing and social media strategy, and I also contribute writing and photography to regional projects including the sixth edition of The Waterfall Lover’s Guide to the Pacific Northwest. Most of the work I produce is focused on highlighting places that define the Inland Northwest and sharing them in a way that feels authentic to the people who live here.
I have three kids, and most of our time together revolves around getting out and doing things. They love outdoor adventures, trampoline parks, exploring new places, and anything that involves being active. A lot of the places we visit end up naturally becoming part of the stories I share through Spokane Storytime because they are the kinds of experiences families in this region are always looking for. Both of them already love visiting Silverwood and Boulder Beach and would be very excited about the chance to be part of some of the stories or blogs. For us it is really about those classic family experiences where you spend the whole day somewhere fun and the kids talk about it for weeks afterward. Those kinds of memories are a big part of what makes places like Silverwood special for families in the Inland Northwest.

Nichelle Patterson
Cyber Security Officer
Tri-Cities, WA
I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, Washington and graduated from Richland High School—go Bombers! After high school, I attended Columbia Basin College before joining the United States Air Force, where I proudly served in the medical field. My time in the military taught me discipline, resilience, and the importance of serving others. After the birth of my first son, I made the decision to transition out of active duty so I could focus on raising my family while still supporting the mission. I continued working with the military as a civilian for seven years while growing my family and building my career.
Today, I’m a proud single mom to two amazing boys who keep life busy and exciting. I recently graduated with my master’s degree and currently work in cybersecurity at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Between work and school, my boys are the center of my world, and our schedule is often packed with their activities. They stay very active in sports, including football, basketball, and track, which means many evenings and weekends are spent cheering from the sidelines.
Even with our busy schedules, we make time for experiences that allow us to unplug and simply enjoy being together as a family. Silverwood has always been one of those special places for us. It’s where we can step away from our routines and create memories that my boys will carry with them just like I carried my own childhood memories of the park.
Being able to return to Silverwood now as a parent is incredibly meaningful to me. Watching my boys experience the rides, the waterpark, and the excitement of the park brings everything full circle. It reminds me of the joy I felt going there as a kid growing up in the Tri-Cities. Sharing that same magic with my children—and now sharing those moments with others—is something that truly makes me happy.

Rochelle Durruthy
Social Media Marketer & Influencer
Spokane, WA
I’m a mom of two and I run a marketing/event company here in the Pacific Northwest. I moved here from San Diego about 10 years ago, and over that time I’ve really been figuring out how to love and embrace the Pacific Northwest in my own way.
When I first moved here, I really wanted to lean into what makes this area special community, family, and being outdoors. I might not always be the most outdoorsy person, but I do love exploring, finding new places, and experiencing everything the region has to offer. Over time, that curiosity turned into part of my work. I love sharing the fun things I find, supporting local businesses, and helping highlight the communities that make this area such a great place to live.
That mix of family, community, exploring, and helping businesses grow is really what makes up a lot of who I am and what I love to do.

Sadie McBournie
Content Creator & Marketing Manager, Mom What’s Next Spokane
Spokane, WA
My name is Sadie, and I’m a Spokane-area mom of three who loves sharing family adventures and highlighting the incredible places our community has to offer. My husband and I are raising two adventurous boys and the sweetest little girl, and a lot of our life revolves around finding fun experiences we can enjoy together as a family.
Before becoming a mom, I worked in television and media, which gave me a strong foundation in storytelling, content creation, and connecting with an audience. Today I use those skills both to grow my own personal brand and to help other local businesses share their stories through social media. I truly enjoy creating content that feels authentic, helpful, and inspiring for families who are looking for new things to do together.
A big part of my life is being involved in my kids’ world. I love volunteering at their school and supporting their activities, and I’m always looking for ways to make memories with them. We love exploring new places, attending local markets, and trying new things together as a family.
When I’m not with my kids or creating content, you’ll probably find me at the gym. Fitness is something I’m really passionate about. I love challenging myself, pushing my limits, and trying new competitions or workouts. It’s something that keeps me energized and reminds me that growth often happens when you step outside your comfort zone. This year I’m hoping to train for: another CrossFit competition, another Hyrox (or 2!), and a sprint triathlon!
What I love most about creating content is the opportunity to build community. I enjoy connecting with other parents, sharing recommendations, and highlighting experiences that bring people together. My goal is always to create content that feels genuine and relatable.

Torri Mead
Stay-at-Home Mom, Owner of a Marketing Agency
Spokane, WA
My name is Torri Mead, and I live in Spokane, Washington, with my husband and our three daughters, all under four years old. This season of life is beautifully full, loud, and incredibly meaningful. I am passionate about intentional motherhood and creating a childhood for our girls that is rooted in connection, confidence, and core memories.
As a mom of toddlers, I understand how overwhelming these early years can feel. I share our real, unfiltered life through my social media platform, @torrionpurpose, where I connect with local moms and families. My goal is to help make this season feel less isolating and more joyful by highlighting family-friendly activities, hidden gems, and businesses in Spokane and the surrounding areas.
I care deeply about finding places that truly welcome young families. When I share something, it is because we have genuinely experienced it and loved it. I focus on practical tips, honest reflections, and experiences that feel doable for parents navigating toddlerhood.
Last year, I had the privilege of serving as a Silverwood Conductor, which naturally aligned with what I already love to do: documenting meaningful family moments and helping other families feel confident getting out with little ones.
