We understand that families are always on the lookout for budget friendly things to do in the summer. Here at Silverwood, we try to give all families the opportunity to experience what we have to offer at least once. In fact, we have several ways to save during your visit to make it the most memorable one yet. Please use these tips and tools to enhance your experience with us on the park.

1. Visit In The Shoulder Season

A lot of guests aren’t aware of this, but there are specials throughout the entire month of May and September! Not only will you avoid lines, but you can save your family a lot of money on admission. This is also a great time to come for families that are just interested in the rides and not the water park.

May

You can get into the park for only $19.88 for the opening weekend
Mom gets in FREE for Mother’s Day weekend
Save up to $14 on admission by coming during the Garfield special.

September

Classic cars from across the Northwest converge on Silverwood during Labor Day Weekend
Silverwood shows their appreciation for Grandmas and Grandpas by admitting them to the park for FREE when accompanied by a grandchild
During our Community Appreciation Weekends, general admission is only $38

2. Purchase In Advance

Tickets and season passes go on sale throughout the year, but if you purchase them before the season starts, you will get the most savings.

If you would like to buy a season pass….

The Early Bird Special is the most affordable time to purchase. This sale runs from
September – Mid November  and can be purchased online or through our Sales team at 208-216-4300.

If you happen to miss the Early Bird Sale, the next chance to save is our Christmas Special.
This sale is from Mid November – December. Giving the gift of summer fun is a wonderful tradition for many, and your family might want to join in on the fun as well.

If you were too busy during the holidays to grab the other deals, then the next best is the Garfield Special. This runs January  – February  and still provides guests the opportunity to save big on their summer plans.

The Regular Season starts in March and runs through August. The early guest will save the most money, and it’s essential to plan ahead when looking to save on season passes.

If you are only able to come to the park a few times this year, or you have already missed the season pass specials, then you can still save money. Go online to www.silverwoodthemepark.com to always find the best deals on tickets!

3. Stay in Our RV Park

If you need accommodations during your stay, then you have another opportunity to save money! We have an RV Park on site with 126 full hook-ups, 41 tent only sites and quick and easy access to Silverwood and Boulder Beach via an underground tunnel. The best part is that if you stay with us, you get discounted tickets! If camping isn’t your style, you can still SAVE by staying at one of our partnering hotels and purchasing a stay and play package!

4. Grow The Fun, Book A Group

We believe that the more friends you bring, the merrier your experience will be here at Silverwood. Most guests have heard that they can get a discounted rate on tickets and food when they book a group of 15 or more, but many don’t know the details of this offer. Whether you are looking for a new place for your family reunion, or seeking out a way to reward your employees for all of their hard work, you can save big! Traveling with a larger group can seem stressful. Luckily our Sales Team can customize and plan your experience to ensure a successful day at the park. They can be reached at groups@silverwoodthemepark.com.

5. Eat at Chuck Wagon John’s

Your summer experience won’t be complete without partaking in the traditional BBQ spread. Here at Silverwood we have a phenomenal BBQ Pavilion that offers wood-grilled chicken quarters, tender pulled BBQ pork, hot dogs, mac and cheese, coleslaw, cornbread, country green beans, baked beans, corn on the cob, garden salad, watermelon, cookie and assorted Pepsi beverages, lemonade, iced tea and water. The best part is that you can eat all you want for only 12.99! Chuck Wagon John’s is located between Thunder Canyon and Tremors Roller Coaster.

6. Visit After 4 pm

Another way of grabbing a discount is visiting the park after 4 pm. A general admission ticket is only $28 with this deal, when it is normally $51 for an all day ticket. Since this deal is available starting June 9th,  and you would still have time to visit both the theme park and the water park. If visiting the water park is important to you, make sure to head there first since it closes at 7 pm, and then wander over to the rides for some more fun. To find out what time the park opens for your desired visiting date, check out the calendar here.

7. Veteran Discount

Not only do all Police, Fire, and Military get in for FREE during memorial day weekend, but they get a special discounted rate after the water park opens.  These guests can get into the park for only $45 at the front gate. Even if this discount doesn’t apply to you, please spread the word and let your friends and family know of this one!

8. Invest In A Sports Bottle

Whenever your family or friends ask for tips or recommendations, always recommend our sports bottles. Not only are they a great souvenir, but they are an unbeatable value! You get unlimited drink refills the day of purchase, and then every day after that it’s only 99 cents! You don’t have to worry about giving the kids extra cash for drinks all day. Whether you are a first time visitor or a lifetime season pass holder, these are a fantastic deal.

As you can see there are many ways to cut costs on your next trip to Silverwood. If you have any additional tips, tricks, or secrets please comment below. As always please like and share this post, as well as enter to win two free tickets!
