Bring your own lunch. Do one park before lunch, come out and change and eat outside the park in the picnic area during lunch. Then re-enter and do to other park after lunch. Then splurge on ice cream!
Good recommendations! Silverwood can be pretty busy, and the food lines are sometimes a long wait, so eating lunch outside might save some time for more fun!

Silverwood is my favorite amusement park – love the water park.
Before COVID, we tried to make this an annual trip. We drive from Oregon. We have been there in the summer of 2018 and 2019. Hoping to make it back this Summer. My kids love it here. Best insider tip would be to go to the parks on a weekday, less crowded.

We love Silverwood! It’s small enough to walk around and do everything in one day, but still offers enough variety of rides and entertainment for all ages. I was shocked how many rides my littles ones could do! It has Disney-level details and care. The foliage is beautiful and even the colors of flowers will match the ride. The speakers are hidden in the rocks, making it feel more magical and everything is just done very well.

We absolutely love SW! We’ve been going for decades. We always camp there, and stay 2 days; one for the ride side, and the other for the waterpark. The cabana, while costly, is the only way to go on the water side. Other faves include the ice cream, the pizza and magic show, and the coasters 🙂

Pro tip with kids: Full pizzas are quite affordable and are sold in the magic building. We frequently grab a couple pizzas to cap off our day at the park!

My pro tip for visiting Silverwood is to show up before opening time. You get the best parking and shorter lines to ride in the dry park before the hottest part of the day. Get your hand stamped around lunch time and either picnic it up or go grab lunch then come back for boulder beach and snacks and games. Full day of food and fun!
