Magic Shows, Coasters, and Water Parks, OH MY!

Looking for something to do this summer? Our family went to Silverwood Theme Park a couple weeks ago and it was one of the best vacations we've ever had! There were so many things to do and something for everyone in the family!

Have you ever seen a magic show? No, not a dinky magic show. I mean a REAL magic show! Grab a pizza inside and prepare to be blown away by Nick and Amanda's magical talent. They have won numerous awards and we could see why. The kids were mesmerized the whole time. My husband and I were pretty impressed as well. The show lasted about 30 minutes and was full of humor and magic. My kids were amazed when Nick made Amanda float in the air. Nick is also pretty good with cards. He can pick a person out of the crowd and fling a card across the room at them. Our daughter even caught one to keep!  I recommend waiting in line at least 40 minutes before if you want to get a seat. The show is so good seats fill up quickly.

What is an amusement park without roller coasters? Silverwood has some amazing coasters in Roller Coaster Alley. My little adrenaline girls loved Tremors and Timber Terror. Those two roller coasters are where the girls chose to spend the most time. My personal favorite was Timber Terror. I loved how the coaster felt like it was flying. Tremors was a favorite for a my girls. It is one of the top rated wood coasters in the country. Make sure to smile as you drop 103 feet down into the under ground tunnels and check out your photos from the secret camera on your way out!

Boulder Beach. Nothing can complete an amusement park like adding a water park into it! The best part about Boulder Beach is that your ticket doesn't cost extra to go to both parks. You can chose to spend all day at one park or switch between Silverwood and Boulder Beach through out the day as you like. They have LOTS of fun things to do. Daddy and the girls went to ride the water slides and water rides, while the baby and I relaxed on a tube in Elkhorn Creek (a mile long lazy river) as he napped. They also have a fun kiddie area. A water jungle gym full of slides and water works.

Silverwood has taken extra precautions with Covid to help keep guests safe. They have reduced their capacity, changed their line configurations and spray painted markings every 6 feet in longer ride lines to allow for social distancing. Rides are being wiped down and disinfected in between each ride and hand sanitizer is placed at every ride exit and throughout the park. Boulder beach is regularly inspecting their chlorine and ph levels. Complimentary masks are also available for those who would like to wear one but did not bring their own.

With something for everyone Silverwood is a sure win if you are looking for the perfect family vacation!

I can totally relate to Momma Koyle story as I have an older kiddo who will be 11 years old August 4th, and a baby who will be 1 years old on August 5th. Winning these tickets would be a perfect way to spend both kids birthdays 🙂

Thank you for your blog! And for the info about what precautions silverwood is taking for the safety of their guests. We have been super careful and doing our part to stop the spread, but it would be really nice to get out and do something fun as a family!
