What’s New At Silverwood: 2023

I know you’ve probably ALL seen the Silverwood video on what’s new at Silverwood for the year 2023, right?! Well, if you haven’t, you need to watch that HERE 

But here I get to share with you some new things that they definitely didn’t bring up, that are hiding in the park, and it’s my JOY to tell you about these new things that you should watch out for this year!

Remember, on June 2oth, it’s Silverwood’s 35th anniversary!!!!

1. New Food at the High Moon Saloon

This is my favorite subject in this blog today! We NEED to be talking about the food that is at the High Moon Saloon. Silverwood has outdone itself AGAIN by knocking it out of the park with two fantastic sliders from the High Noon Saloon. There are two options: a pulled pork slider and a ham and Swiss slider.

–         The Pulled Pork Slider is that famous SW pulled pork flavor that we all love, but presented to you in a classic slider, served with a sweet bun and dill pickle spear. 

–         The Ham and Swiss Slider is a little fancy, with flavors you recognize but will surprise you. 

– These are both coming in at $7.99 and are perfect for a snack to share or as a small meal that isn’t going to fill your stomach to the max so that you have room for those $5 Funnel cakes! 

– Last but certainly not least are the hummus with pita, carrots, and celery! This is a GENEROUS portion of hummus, and as a self-proclaimed purveyor of hummus, I can confirm this has a great flavor and is perfect for those who want a more healthy option. These are coming in at $5.99

 2. Variety Show at the High Moon Saloon

We have not seen this show yet, as its debut is coming in June, but you can count us as some of the first viewers of the Variety Show! I have a musical theatre-loving heart, and I could not be more ecstatic about seeing this show in person. The High Moon Saloon is the best spot to hide on Main Street and enjoy the AC, so why not get some of those delicious snacks and watch the new variety show?! I know that’s where I will be!

 3. Idaho Nachos at the Kool Cactus 

This delicious ensemble is coming to the Kool Cactus sometime in June! You can bet that being a potato-loving state, this is will be arguably one of the best things at the Kool Cactus. This seems amazing for me to say, since IMO it’s one of the best places to get food in Silverwood. Please see the Picky Eater’s Guide to Silverwood HERE.

4. Silver Mine Shoot Out // Train Show 

You don’t want to be missing this brand new train show. Ranger Ruby and Ranger Eddie are amazing, they captivate the show in a fantastic way and really involve you. Out of the shows it’s our personal favorite. We don’t discriminate between the shows as they are clearly all amazing… but just like children… you always have a favorite and you’re just not willing to admit it?! We are admitting this one….  5. The Treehouse

This gem has been repainted, and there’s now recycled tires being used instead of gravel. Silverwood is amazing at making sure that every detail of the park is constantly being looked out for, so this is just another example of them paying such close attention to details.

6.Parking Prices 

The prices went up to $10 this year for a day’s parking. But you know what didn’t change? There’s STILL no fee for season pass holders! All the more reason to get a season pass (There’s still time to get one!!) You can do that right HERE.

7. Silverwood calendar’s

If you don’t have a calendar, I recommend it! This is great at showing you when are the best days to visit the park, including opening times for both Boulder Beach and the main Silverwood Theme Park from the comfort of your own home, as well as there are rip-off posters for each month. Free decorating what?!

 8. Retail on the website

Speaking of the calendars, there’s actually a load of other things you can purchase, including the ability to gift a season pass to someone! You’d seriously be the coolest friend EVER. You can view those products HERE.

Honorable mentions! 

These are things that aren’t “new,” but you may just not know about that you for reals should.

 99c refills?! 

You know about the 99c refills for the sports bottles, but did you know that from the main roaster, as you enter the park you can get 99c refills on your coffee all day?! Whaaaaaaaaaat?!

 Breakfast at the Park

I know when you think of Silverwood food, you think of their legendary pulled pork, but you know, you can actually get breakfast items in the park?! I know what you’re thinking, “Hannah, the park opens at like 10-11… who is thinking about breakfast?!” As a pregnant woman…. Me… I am. Anyways….. There are some great options at the Coffee Roaster just as you enter into the park, A Sausage and cheese biscuit, a Savory Croissant, and a DELICIOUS cinnamon roll.

 Package Express

Last on the list is an excellent reminder. You see those awesome sweatpants that you want to buy but don’t want to carry them about the park all day?! Package Express is your best friend. You just head back to the front coffee house and pick up your packages when you’re ready to leave the park and THEN you can explain to your other half WHY you needed it.

Just a pro tip: remember, it’s better to say I’m sorry than please.
